Uttar Pradesh Police has raised the bounty on gangster Vikas Dubey from 2.5 lakh rupees to 5 lakhs. This news came after Police raided a hotel and spotted Vikas in Faridabad. However the gangster managed to escape the place before police reached there.
The team of police has raised the reward to 5 lakhs after several teams deployed for the search of Vikas Dubey. The team has been going places including Gurugram, Faridabad and Delhi searching for him.
On Wednesday a close aide Amar Dubey was knocked down in an encounter.
Vikas Dubey and Amar Dubey were both involved in the killing of 8 policemen in Kanpur.
Another associate of the gangster was arrested on Wednesday in an encounter in Chaubeypur area. Vikas Dubey’s aide Shyamu Bajpai was arrested after an encounter with police in Chaubeypur area. Bajpai, carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 sustained bullet injury on his leg.
These back to back killings have created an urgency to search the gangster and mastermind behind the serial killings. Since last week 25 police teams are searching for Vikas Dubey.
