IPL 2020

IPL 2020 is round the corner and will be held in UAE. Prior to the much awaited IPL 2020 two players from Chennai Super Kings have been tested positive for coronavirus. Earlier Deepak Chahar tested positive and now Ruturaj Gaekwad has been infected by the virus.

Chahar on Friday tested positive and was the first member from CSK to have succumbed to the virus. The players who have been tested positive will be isolating themselves outide the bio-bubble.

“This will follow the Government policy and is currently 14 days. During the 14-day quarantine, the individual will be tested on Day 10, Day 13 and Day 14.”

According to the health guidelines contact tracing will be done.

“Contact tracing must commence at the earliest. All casual contacts will undergo an RT-PCR test immediately while close contacts will be closely monitored and tested over the next 5 days,”

Suresh Raina will not be attending the IPL 2020 and has opted to return home due to “personal reasons”.
