The upgrade of Samsung’s most premium smartphone S24 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, can come at the end of this year or early next year. - Looking at the leaked render photos, it seems that a big change can be made in the design of the upcoming flagship device as compared to the previous model.
- You can see in the image that the renders have a completely flat design, while the S24 Ultra had rounded corners.
- The dimensions of the S25 Ultra are said to be 162.8 x 77.6 x 8.2 mm. The phone has thinner bezels than the previous S24 Ultra. It is expected to be 0.4mm thinner.
- The big thing is that the weight of the phone is said to be 219 grams, which is 13 grams less than the S24 Ultra.
- 5 cameras and LED flash are seen on the back panel of the phone like the previous model, while Samsung’s branding is below.
- It is expected that in terms of screen size, the phone can come with a 6.8-inch phone like before. At the same time, a punch hole notch is visible on it.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a 200MP primary camera like the S24 Ultra, but it will get AI features for better low-light performance and better details. The phone may include a 12MP ultra-wide sensor and two telephoto lenses – one with 3x optical zoom and the other with 10x optical zoom.
Battery
Talking about the battery, there will be no change in its size and fast charging capability. Like the previous Ultra model, it will also get a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
Software
Samsung usually introduces new versions of One UI with its latest flagship smartphones. Due to which the S25 series is expected to ship with One UI 7-based Android 15.
The new One UI version is expected to bring new animations, new system icons, new background interface, support for large folders, new Galaxy AI features and more. Along with this, it is expected that the S25 series can also be given up to 7 years of OS upgrades and up to 7 years of security updates like the Galaxy S24 lineup.
Processor and RAM
The Galaxy S25 Ultra can be given Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. While in some countries it will be launched with Exynos 2500 chipset. The S25 Ultra is rumored to have up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB. A 5,500mAh battery will be available to power the device. Which will support 65W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
Release Date and Price
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to be launched in early 2025. It can be launched globally in the month of February. Samsung will likely introduce several other devices along with the new series during the Unpacked event in February. It is expected that this phone will go on sale in India by March 2025. The price of Galaxy S25 Ultra can start from Rs 1,20,000 for the base variant.
