Samsung has officially announced that its Galaxy Unpacked in-person event will be held in San Jose on January 22, 2025. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25, and Galaxy S25+ smartphones are expected to be introduced at the event. There have been rumours about the Galaxy S25 Slim, but it is expected to be teased at the end of the event and the launch is expected later. Let’s know about the Samsung Galaxy S25 series in detail.

Samsung has also started pre-reservation for the Galaxy S25 series in India through the Samsung India Store. The company says that customers can avail benefits of up to Rs 5,000 by pre-booking the phone for Rs 1,999 from today. The pre-bookings will continue till January 22. Rumours suggest that Samsung will open pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series on January 24, and the flagship devices will go on sale from February 4.
Samsung Galaxy S25 series camera
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra can be launched with quad rear camera and Galaxy A25 and S25 Plus can be launched with triple rear camera setup. According to leaks, the back panel of S25 Ultra will have a 200MP main camera sensor supported by OIS and PDAF. Along with this, 50MP ultrawide angle lens, 50MP Periscope lens and 10MP Telephoto lens can also be seen on the back panel.
If the leaks are to be believed, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ mobile phones will support a 50-megapixel main camera sensor, along with which an ultra-wide angle lens and telephoto sensor can also be available. At the same time, a 12-megapixel front camera can be given on the front panel of the phone like the current A24 models of the series. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra can have a 12-megapixel front camera.
Display
Galaxy S25 can have a 6.2-inch screen, Galaxy S25 Plus can have a 6.7-inch screen and Galaxy S25 Ultra can have a 6.86-inch screen. These upcoming Samsung smartphones are expected to have Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2x punch-hole screen which will also have QHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, high brightness and in-display fingerprint sensor.
Processor
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra can be launched on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset built on 3nm fabrications. This processor has been seen in smartphones like OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15, iQOO 13 and Realme GT 7 Pro. At the same time, Exynos 2500 processor can be found in Galaxy S25 and S25 + smartphones. All three models of the series will be launched with 12GB RAM and 16GB RAM. The base variant of the smallest model can start with 128GB storage and the top variant of the largest model can have 1TB storage.
Battery
We will also get to see a big and powerful battery in the upcoming Galaxy A25 Ultra. At present the mAh power is not confirmed but we can expect that this mobile will support at least 5,500 mAh battery. And this can be a silicon carbon battery. If the leaks are to be believed, it will be equipped with 45W fast charging technology but we are expecting something more.
Samsung Galaxy S25 price Expected
While the official pricing is yet to be announced, reports suggest that the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra- the premium device in the series could be more expensive than the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which was launched in India at Rs 1,29,999. The price is likely to increase as the Galaxy S25 includes the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
