Russian PM In A Video Call To Putin Said "Will Go In Self-Isolation"

The shocking news came from Russia as PM Mikhail Mishustin in a tweet confirmed his results of coronavirus test. The results are positive and he will be now in self-isolation.

Mishustin in a video call said to President Vladimir Putin about the self-isolation and positive reports. Putin asked him to continue playing his important role in making drafting policies for the Russian economy.

The coronavirus pandemic has severely hurt the economy of Russia as the country has 106K cases of coronavirus. So far, 11, 619 people have recovered which is good news for the country. But, 1,073 people have died.

It is the duty of PM to oversees the economy therefore Putin has asked him to co-ordinate whilst self-isolation. Mishustin is 54 and he became PM in January 2020.

On his behalf, now the First Deputy PM of Russia will perform all his duties. Andrei Belousov will work temporarily on his behalf whereas Mishustin will be in touch with key issues despite self-isolation.

Since the coronavirus has hit the country, the Russian President decided to conduct meetings via video conferences. Since then all the conferences and meetings with officials are live.

Russia is not the first country where a PM has tested positive. British PM Boris Johnson was also tested positive and admitted to ICU as well. His conditions are normal and he is out of danger.
