Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a total of 11,558 recruitments for graduate and under-graduate posts under Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC). Computer Based Test (CBT 1) will be conducted first for selection to these posts. According to media reports, the exam dates can be announced soon. RRB NTPC Exam Date 2025: Expected Announcement Soon
As soon as the exam date is announced, the information about the exam city and details related to the admit card will also be released. Candidates will be able to download their exam city slip about 10 days before the exam, while the admit card will be issued four days before the exam.
RRB NTPC Exam: This will be the exam pattern
A total of 100 objective type questions will be asked in the CBT 1 exam phase. Out of these, 40 questions will be related to general knowledge, 30 mathematics and 30 general intelligence and reasoning. Candidates will get 90 minutes to solve the entire paper. There is a provision of negative marking in the exam. 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

To succeed in CBT 1, candidates of general and economically weaker section (EWS) must score a minimum of 40% marks. At the same time, this limit has been fixed at 30% for OBC (non-creamy layer) and SC category and 25% for ST category. Based on the results of CBT 1, the selected candidates will be called for CBT 2, the number of which can be up to 15 times the total number of posts.
