Royal Enfield has announced that its special limited edition motorcycle, the Shotgun 650X Icon, will be released on February 12, 2025. The bike was recently showcased at the EICMA 2024 event. Only 100 units of this model will be made worldwide. It is being built in partnership with custom motorcycle company ICON One Thousand.
The Shotgun 650X Icon comes with a unique three-tone colour scheme, race-style graphics, and exclusive parts like gold rims, blue shock springs, and a red seat. Each bike will also include an exclusive Slabtown Intercept RE jacket made of suede and textile, making it even more attractive for collectors.
Royal Enfield Shotgun 650X Icon Specs
Apart from its appearance, the Shotgun 650X Icon will be similar to the regular version. It will be powered by a 648cc engine that produces 46.4 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The bike will also feature Showa upside-down forks at the front and twin springs at the rear.
It rides on 18-inch wheels at the front and 17-inch wheels at the rear, with disc brakes on both wheels. The regular Shotgun 650 was launched in January 2024, with prices starting at Rs 3.59 lakh. It comes in three versions: Custom Shade, Custom Pro, and Custom Special.

In terms of design, the Shotgun 650 is a bobber-style bike that falls between the Super Meteor 650 and the Continental GT 650. It gets a flatter handlebar, centre-set footpegs for a better riding position, full-LED lights, Tripper navigation, a USB charging port, and the Wingman app to provide information about the bike.

Apart from the cosmetic changes, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650X Icon is likely to remain mechanically unchanged from the standard version. It will get the same 648cc parallel-twin, oil-cooled engine that produces 46.4 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm and has a six-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle gets Showa upside-down forks at the front and twin springs at the rear. The wheel combination is 18-inch at the front and 17-inch at the rear, with a 320mm disc brake at the front and a 300mm rotor at the rear.
