Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave appointment letters to 71,000 youths today under the Rojgar Mela, a recruitment drive for 10 lakh personnel. The PM interacted with newly recruited people in government departments and organizations through video conferencing at the beginning of the program. Addressing the youth, the PM said that our government does what it says and this employment fair is a great example of this.
Rojgar Mela: Event Update
During the event, PM Modi provided a joining letter to 71,000 new employers selected under Rojgar Mela. The new joiners were selected in the fields including Junior Engineer, Loco Pilot, Technician, Inspector, Sub Inspector, Constable, Stenographer, Jr. Accountant, Gramin Dak Sevak, Income Tax Inspector, and Teacher.

PM Modi addressed the participants during Rojgar Mela. He said that self-learning is the way of achieving new heights of success and youth should learn through technology. Technology can teach people with alot of good traits and help them learn. You should always be eager to learn and later PM Modi also said that he also keeps learning as their’s no age when you stop learning.
The Prime Minister had launched a “Rozgar Mela” to recruit 10 lakh people on October 22 last year and highlighted his government’s efforts to create jobs in the last eight years amid constant criticism from the opposition on the issue of unemployment. 45 ministers took part in the fair, including Dharmendra Pradhan, Piyush Goyal, Hardeep Puri, Anurag Thakur, and other senior ministers.
PM Modi also praised the success of new startups that have laid a foundation for the upcoming generation. He further said that the youth is excited about startups and this is a positive thing for the future of our country.
