Renowned Mountaineer Bhawna Dehariya Inspired Ex. Pilot To Achieve His Dreams

Bhawna Dehariya, an enthusiastic mountain climber (MP) who set the “Guinness World Records” for scaling the peak of Mount Everest inspired 52-year old Ex.pilot, Captain Surendra Singh Yadav. Her determination and courage inspired Surendra to head toward his dreams.

The inspiring story of Bhawna has filled the heart and mind of Captain Surendra Singh with excitement. He will be climbing the Mount Everest on March 30th, 2021. The Ex.pilot recently visited Bhopal for meeting renowned mountaineer, Bhawna Dehariya to receive her best wishes before he heads to achieve his goal.

At meeting, Bhawna Dehariya sparked a keenness in him when she said “Age is no barrier to dreams” She narrated her story of challenges, hardship, and how she accomplished the dream successfully.

Upon this Captain Surendra said, “Bhawna’s guidance not only helped me but also assisted me about the requirements for the expedition” Surendra Singh Yadav

The expedition day is special as it’s the same day of his Alma matar’s diamond jubilee celebration. Captain Surendra is from 1980-86’s batch who became the commercial pilot under the license of Ministry of Civil Aviation. He says, “When I was in school management, I showcased essential stuffs related to mountaineering at the museum” As he will be making the use of the mountaining equipments while climbing, he will make the Alma matar proud.

He completed the course of mountaineering from NIM (Nehru Institute of Mountaineering) located in Uttarakhand. He will also visit the school on the same day of expedition from Kathmandu through New Delhi. On top of this, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presence at Sainik School will boost cadet’s confidence.

Upon completion of the expedition on June 3, he will return back to India. Bhawna Dehariya sends her best wishes to the Captain as a memento.
