The company has received an export order of ₹ 600 crore from Germany’s leading weapons manufacturing company Rheinmetall Waffe Munition GmbH. The company has recently given this information to the stock exchange. After this news, the stock of Anil Ambani’s company Reliance Infrastructure saw a rise. Today on Wednesday, the company’s stock hit an upper circuit of 5%. The stock reached an intraday high of Rs 404.05.

To fulfill this order, Reliance Defense is building Dhirubhai Ambani Defense City (DADC) in Watad in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. This project will be the largest defense manufacturing hub in India’s private sector till date. Integrated manufacturing units for weapons, ammunition, explosives and small arms are being prepared here.

There is a plan to make DADC a center of defense production, innovation and global supply, which will take India’s defense export to new heights.
