In India,Realme's eagerly anticipated 10,000mAh battery phone may soon make its debut. The business first displayed the phone in May of last year, but it never formally said when it would be released in China or India.

The Realme phone, model number RMX5107, gained BIS certification on December 22 and is scheduled to launch in India in January 2026, according to tipster Yogesh Brar.

Francis Wong, Realme's head of product marketing, recently posted on X about a forthcoming phone that shows battery statistics after more than 30 days of use. Wong demonstrated the phone's battery capabilities by showing it with only 3% of its battery left and saying he would not charge it till launch day.

What Could 10,000 mAh Battery Specifications? Know Here

  • Realme announced last year that the 10,000mAh battery phone would weigh little more than 200 grams and have an 8.5mm thickness. Additionally, the business said that the phone has an ultra-high silicon content anode battery with an energy density of 887Wh/L and a silicon ratio of 10%.
  • It also stated that the business is utilizing a "Mini Diamond Architecture" for the phone's interior components in order to accommodate the big battery. Additionally, the phone was rumored to have the narrowest mainboard in the world, measuring only 23.4mm.
  • Because OEMs have just embraced silicon-carbon battery technology, 7,000mAh cells are beginning to feel like the new standard. This enables manufacturers to add extra power without making the phone overly large or heavy.
  • Realme followed suit with the P4x 5G, which has a 7,000mAh battery and 45W rapid charging. Realme would take things to the next level if those rumors about the forthcoming P-series phone come true. In May of last year, the business hinted at a 10,000mAh prototype, but it made no mention of its commercial availability.

Will Become the First Smartphone In This Category

According to leaks, the phone might be a mid-range model that is part of the Realme P series lineup. Realme might be the first smartphone manufacturer in this category to release a phone with a 10,000mAh battery in India. What kind of rapid charging Realme would offer to recharge its 10,000mAh battery phone is yet unclear.

We do not know the phone's name or other specifics, but Telegram leak of the same model number in Russia confirmed that it has 10,001mAh battery and that it has an Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0, 12GB RAM, and 256GB of storage.

Other Smartphones are Not Far Behind In Race!

Other smartphone manufacturers, though, are not far behind either. For example, it has been reported that OnePlus is developing the OnePlus Nord 6 series, which will have an incredible 9,000mAh battery.

In the meantime, Chinese flagships and mid-range devices now typically have a 7,000mAh battery, and even low-cost devices have begun to have batteries larger than 6,000mAh. For example, the Poco F7, which debuted last year, has a 7,550mAh battery pack, and the newly announced OnePlus 15R had a 7,400mAh battery.

Will Be Beneficial For Gamers and Travellers

Customers who will be attracted, such as frequent travelers, gamers, or anyone looking for days of use without having to look for a charger, would be drawn to the 10,000mAh battery. Conversely, it can result in trade-offs including increased weight, longer charging periods, or design modifications.

But until Realme provides the confirmation, it is prudent to be cautious. However, if the phone is released at a competitive price, it might shift the meaning of long battery life in mainstream phones and raise the bar for battery-heavy smartphones in India.
