So basically what Roger Binny was to Stuart Binni, Virat Kohli is to Ravi Shashtri. If you know what I mean!

Anyway, bitching apart, all the support staff, namely Bharat Arun, India’s bowling coach has also received a hike and is supposedly receiving about Rs 3.5 crore. The fielding coach R Sridhar is also reportedly drawing the same.

Meanwhile, Vikram Thakur, the man who replaced Sanjay Bangar as the Batting Coach will get somewhere between Rs 2.5 crore to Rs 3 crore.
According to Vikram:

“The reason why I came in here is the belief I had in this team, the belief that they could leave a legacy which very few teams have left behind which other teams going down will try and emulate.”

Keeping everything aside, we just hope they prove worthy of the mighty zeroes they’re being paid.
