The recruitment process for a total of 9617 posts of Constable (Driver, Band, Operator) by Rajasthan Police will start from 28 April 2025. Appointments will be made in these posts in various districts, units and battalions. Meanwhile, the Police Headquarters has issued a revised notification regarding the minimum educational qualification for the Constable Operator and Driver posts of Telecom Branch. Now it has been made mandatory for the candidates to have passed Senior Secondary (12th) or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics or Computer subjects in Science subject from a recognized school or board.
In the earlier notification, this qualification was given with the use of the words “Board established by law” and “declared equivalent by the Government”, due to which many candidates got confused. For this reason, the Police Headquarters has now clarified the situation by issuing new qualification in clear language. Earlier the qualification was Senior Secondary or equivalent in Science with Physics and Mathematics, Computer Science subjects by a Board established by law or 12th class pass declared equivalent by the Government.
