There is a golden opportunity to get a government job in Indian Railways. Railway Recruitment Cell has also released recruitment for more than 2200 apprentice posts in East Central Railway and North Eastern Railway.

Application Deadlines for ECR & NER Vacancies: In this, the online application process for ECR posts has closed on 14 February, but candidates can apply for NER vacancy till 23 February.

Age Limit for Railway Recruitment 2025: 15 to 24 years has been fixed

Qualification: To apply for apprentice posts, it is mandatory for the candidates to have passed 10th or 12th with 50% marks from any recognized board. Along with this, they should have ITI certificate in their respective trade. The prescribed age limit should be minimum 15 years and maximum 24 years.

Application fee: To apply, candidates of all categories have to pay a fee of Rs 100. At the same time, SC, ST, PWD and female candidates have been exempted from fee payment.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the average of minimum 50% (total marks) in matriculation and marks obtained by the candidates in ITI examination, in which both will be given equal importance.

Selection for these Railway Recruitment posts will be done on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the average of minimum 50% (total marks) in matriculation and marks obtained by the candidates in ITI examination, in which both will be given equal importance.
