Meanwhile, the crowd replied that Wayanad. After that Rahul said, I want to tell you that both Wayanad and Rae Bareli will be happy with my decision. I promise. I thank you for all the support and I will come to meet you again soon.

Actually, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has contested from two seats in the general elections this time too. He contested from Wayanad in Kerala and Rae Bareli seat in UP and won with a huge margin. Rahul had earlier contested from Wayanad and Amethi seat in UP in 2014 as well. However, he lost in Amethi and the people of Wayanad elected him as MP and sent him to the Lok Sabha. This time too he contested from two seats and won both. According to the rules, Rahul can remain an MP from only one seat. In such a situation, he will have to resign from one of the seats.

Rahul Gandhi, who reached Wayanad on Wednesday, said, in this election, hatred has been defeated by love. Arrogance has been defeated by humility. Actually, the truth is that the Prime Minister narrowly escaped defeat in Varanasi. When BJP lost in Ayodhya, the people of Ayodhya have also given a message that we do not support violence and hatred. I can tell you that the government formed in Delhi is a crippled government. The opposition has given a big blow to the BJP. You will see that Narendra Modi’s attitude will also change. Because the people of India have sent him a message.

Rahul Gandhi said I have a big dilemma...

Rahul Gandhi said, our role as the opposition will continue. Now I have a big dilemma. Should I remain an MP from Wayanad or Rae Bareli? However, I am not guided by God like PM Modi. I am a simple human being. My God is the poor people of India. My God is the people of Wayanad. I have to talk to my people and decide what to do next? Coming back to the question. Should I be the MP of Wayanad or Rae Bareli?

The crowd shouted, “Wayanad.” Rahul Gandhi also targeted PM Modi Rahul further said, “I want to tell you that both Wayanad and Rae Bareli will be happy with my decision. I promise. I will meet you soon.” Rahul also targeted PM Modi and said, “You must have heard the PM saying 400 paar. Then that slogan disappeared. It became 370. Then that also disappeared.” Later he said that God has sent me to this earth. Modi ji has a strange God. His God forces him to take all decisions in favor of Adani ji and Ambani. God says give Bombay airport to Adani ji.”

What else did Rahul Gandhi say in Wayanad

What else did Rahul Gandhi say in Wayanad…

Rahul Gandhi said in Wayanad, first of all I want to thank every voter of Wayanad. Many years ago when I was young my grandmother and mother took me to see a Kathakali performance. I did not understand anything and I wanted to go. Because it was a 2 hour performance.

I kept telling my grandmother that I am bored. It is hot. I want to go. Then last year after many years I saw another Kathakali performance. This time the woman present there explained it to me. It lasted for about 3 hours. It was very hot, but I did not feel the heat.

I was just watching the performance and when I came out I was thinking how strange it is. The same performance which I used to find boring, now seems interesting because after so many years someone explained it to me.

Rahul Gandhi said that I understood that this is the tradition and expression of the people of Kerala. When I was watching it for the first time, it seemed like just a dance. The second time it seemed to be about the voice, expression and history of the people of Kerala.

Each state in this country has its own expression, history, culture. Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi – there are so many languages and traditions. Every history and culture is protected by the Constitution.

People of Kerala can enjoy Kathakali and follow their culture. It is the Constitution that protects it. If it was not so, some people could come and say don’t do this, don’t do that.

They can say don’t eat dosa or don’t do something that we don’t like. This time the fight was about the Constitution and on one side there were lakhs of people who were saying we want our culture. We want history. We will decide our future.

On the other hand, the PM and Amit Shah said that we want the people of Kerala to speak Hindi and they will speak in Hindi. We don’t want Tamil people not to speak in Tamil. The good thing is that they made a basic mistake. They thought that we have political power, we have ED, CBI, they can dictate to people and the people of all states including Kerala, Uttar Pradesh showed that they cannot dictate to people and the people of India also told them that the Constitution is our voice. Do not touch the Constitution.

Before the elections, BJP leaders had said that we will change the Constitution. This was their arrogance of power. The Prime Minister bowing before the Constitution after the elections shows that hatred has been defeated by love. Arrogance has been defeated by humility. Actually the truth is that the Prime Minister has escaped defeat even in Varanasi. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also did a road show in Kerala.

This was Rahul’s first visit to Kerala after the Lok Sabha election results. During this, thousands of UDF workers and supporters gathered during the road show. Earlier, party leaders and workers gave a rousing welcome to Rahul at Kozhikode airport.
