Today is Congress leader and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi‘s birth anniversary. Rahul Gandhi went to Delhi’s Veer Bhumi Rajiv Gandhi Memorial and paid a visit on the father’s 76th birth anniversary.
Rahul Gandhi took it to twitter and wrote he is proud to have him as his father and how he misses him today and every time.
“Rajiv Gandhi was a man with a tremendous vision, far ahead of his times. But above all else, he was a compassionate and loving human being. I am incredibly lucky and proud to have him as my father.We miss him today and everyday.”

Rajiv Gandhi took the charge of Congress in 1984 after the assassination of his mother Indira Gandhi. He was the youngest Prime Minister who took the responsibility of the nation at 40.
