In a tweet, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tried to corner the government regarding the crude oil prices. But Milind Deora, a young party leader, replied to his tweet which caused embarrassment to congress leader.
What Rahul Gandhi tweeted on twitter was regarding the falling prices of a specific grade of crude oil. However, what he missed in his tweet was specifying the grade India imports.
कब सुनेगी ये सरकार? pic.twitter.com/DUSIiVZbka

Although Rahul was trying to point out that the government is not doing anything over crude oil prices. Through his tweet, he is demanding for the price reduction in diesel and petrol. A specific grade of crude oil, West Texas Intermediate was referred in his tweet over its falling prices.
On Monday, its price fell to minus $37.63/barrel. In the first time of history, the prices have fallen to such a low rate due to coronavirus pandemic.
But, Milind in his reply to Rahul’s tweet said, India does not import WTI. Moreover, the grade in which India imports is still trading at the price of $21 per barrel.
India imports Brent Crude that comes from the oilfields in the North Sea which lies between Norway and the U.K.

But, again there is a mistake in the timings of the tweets by two party members. Deora tweeted two hours before Rahul’s tweet. So, timings matter overall besides this, Rahul Gandhi has to check facts before posting on social media.
