Pushpa’s swag suits him very well. No amount of praise is enough for the dance and action. This time Allu Arjun has done something that he might not have done before. The action sequences he has done while wearing a saree are rarely seen.
Also, Fahadh Faasil may be playing a negative role, but his mischievous style is very well-liked. Sometimes angry, sometimes joking, his facial expressions are also amazing. It will be fun to watch his face-off and banter with Allu Arjun. It is important to talk about Rashmika Mandanna here. This time she has got more screen time than last time. She has also done justice to her role.
Pushpa 2 Direction
Sukumar has done both the writing and direction of the film. Sukumar has extracted the best work possible from Allu Arjun. In fact, he has extracted more than that. The story is absolutely fresh and has been crafted in an interesting way. The action scenes are amazing.
The dialogues are also well written. However, there are some shortcomings. In the end, the film has been unnecessarily dragged. 20 to 25 minutes could have been trimmed easily. Sukumar missed a bit this time in making the film crisp. The film’s cinematographer also deserves praise. He deserves praise for the larger-than-life way in which he has depicted locations and action sequences.
How is the movie
The songs are much cheaper this time as compared to the last film. The standard that Samantha had set with ‘Oo Antwaa’ in the last film has been completely ruined here. There are many songs, but not even one is worth dancing to. Only Allu Arjun and Rashmika’s dance in one or two songs has made it bearable. There is no harm in saying that the songs of the film are the weak link.
The film is definitely worth watching once. If you are fond of action films, then you should go with your eyes closed. The action is such that you can be left speechless after watching it.
