Karan Johar was seen hugging Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas on Friday at the NMACC event in Mumbai, days after her shocking interview.
The actor has seen greeting filmmaker Karan Johar on Friday at the opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai, just a few days after Priyanka Chopra gave an explosive interview about being bullied in Bollywood and trying her luck abroad. While Kangana Ranaut stated in her most recent tweets that “everyone knows Karan Johar had banned Priyanka Chopra,” Priyanka had not named anyone.
Fans React On Priyanka’s Post
A fan responded to the video by writing, “PC to Nick:” Yeah. This man even dared to contemplate the possibility that he could harm my career. “Pri brought the floor down…that gown/dress was epic, that’s how it should be, as in you come back to your hometown with a bang as if you never left,” was another remark. “Nick and Priyanka’s gesture is so sweet!!” said one more fan.
They were both so eager to comfort KJ with hugs. Another comment read: She will always have that kindness in her heart, regardless of what people do or say about her.”
Priyanka looked stunning in a sheer beige gown with a sheer cape, making her one of the most glamorous celebrities at the event. Nick, dressed in black, joined her. With daughter Malti, this is their first trip to India. Dr. Madhu Chopra, Priyanka’s mother, traveled with them to India as well.
Priyanka was shocked a lot this week when she told Dax Shepherd on his podcast Armchair Expert why she wanted to move to the west. She stated, “I was being forced into a corner in the Bollywood industry.” I was disqualified from castings, I disagreed with people, and I’m not good at playing politics, so I decided I needed a break.
This music thing gave me a chance to travel to a different part of the world without needing to watch movies I didn’t want to, but I would have to talk to certain clubs and groups of people. I had worked so long by that point that I didn’t feel like I wanted to do it because it would require groveling.
“This is what Priyanka Chopra has to say about Bollywood, people ganged up on her, bullied her, and chased her out of the film industry a self-made woman was made to leave India,” Priyanka’s Fashion co-star Kangana tweeted in response to the news.
Everyone is aware that she was banned by Karan Johar. “Media wrote extensively about her fallout with Karan Johar because of her friendship with SRK and the movie mafia Cruella, who is always looking for vulnerable outsiders, saw a perfect punching bag in PC and went all out in harassing her to the point where she had to leave India,” she wrote in a subsequent tweet.
