1. The birth date of Prithviraj Chuhan is not clearly mentioned in any of the books related to him. But according to “Prithviraja Vijaya” (one of his famous poems), he was born on the 12th day of the Jayeshtha month. And as per the astrological planetary positions in the text, 1166 CE was his birth year.

2. He was a master in 6 languages, as per the “Prithviraja Vijaya”. But “Prithviraj Raso” (another famous poem) says, he learned 14 languages. 

3. His kingdom covered many states of India including Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and some parts of Punjab.

4. During his reign, the Hindu community has a stronghold over north-western India in the 12th century. He was one of the last Hindu kings in ancient India.

5. The first achievement of the king came when he successfully stop the revolt of his cousin Nagarjuna and recaptured Gudapura (Now in Gurrugram).

6. The battle with Chandela king Paramardi was one of the greatest battles of his life. Some books and paintings of him tell about the huge military operation. He had successfully captured Jejabhukti (now in Bundelkhand).

7. The medieval biographies of Prithviraj Singh Chauhan mention that he was also a master in subjects like mathematics, history, painting, medicines, philosophy and military. 

8. He was also an expert in archery. He could target his enemy by only hearing words. 

9. Prithviraj also fought the first battle of Tarain and defeated Muhammad Gori, who ruled north-western areas in the 12th century. But the Muslim king managed to retreat back to his territory. However, Muhammad Gori managed to take revenge on Prithviraj Chauhan in the second battle of Tarain.

10. There are several famous stories about the death of Prithviraj Chauhan. According to some books, Prithviraj killed Muhammad Gori with an arrow and then killed himself. But some other books mention that he was executed by Muhammad Gori.
