The Chinese smartphone brand is preparing to launch the POCO M6 Plus in India on August 1, 2024. The landing page of the device was revealed on Flipkart just last week. This listing reveals its dual tone rear design, flat back panel and round corners. There is a punch hole cutout for the selfie camera on the front.
The upcoming smartphone will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE SoC (Accelerated Edition). A teaser video related to this has been shared on X. The teaser has been shared on POCO India’s official X account (earlier Twitter).

The phone can have a 6.79-inch LCD screen. It can have a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The same phone will come with 120Hz refresh rate support. The phone will have 1080×2460 pixel resolution support. The phone will come with 850 nits peak brightness.
Poco M6 Plus Chipset
The phone has a punch-hole notch display. The phone will be given Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen2 Advanced Edition chipset. The phone will work on Android 14 based Poco’s HyperOS custom UI. The phone can have 4 RAM and 128 GB internal storage. Also 1 TB hybrid slot will be given. The phone will come with dual band Wi-Fi. Also Bluetooth v5.0, USB-C connectivity will be given.
Camera and Battery
The Poco M6 Plus 5G smartphone will have a sensor with 108 MP ultra wide angle lens. Also, a 2 MP macro sensor will be given. Portrait, Night, Video mode will be given in the phone. The phone will have a 13 MP camera on the front. The phone will have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will come with IP53 rating. The Poco M6 Plus 5G smartphone will be given a 5030 mAh battery, with which 33W fast charging support will be available.
POCO M6 Plus 5G: Color Options and Design
The brand has officially released the latest teaser of the upcoming phone on the X account. It states that the smartphone will come in India in three color options: Misty Lavender, Graphite Black and Ice Silver. The company has also mentioned in the post that the phone will come with a premium glass back design.
