POCO is set to launch the POCO F7 series at a global event on March 27. The series will include two smartphones – POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra. Although the company is yet to confirm it, according to a new tip, the vanilla POCO F7 may launch in India soon.
POCO F7 India Launch Timeline (Leaked)
According to a report by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the POCO F7 is expected to launch in India soon.
In a post on X Platform, the tipster wrote that the POCO F7 will likely arrive in May 2025 or June 2025 with the rumored Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset.
When launched, the POCO F7 will be the successor to the POCO F6, which was launched in India in May 2024 at a starting price of ₹29,999.
Given the release launch timeline of its predecessor models, it is possible that the POCO F7 could also arrive around May or June.
POCO F7 series: What we know about it so far
Reports have already hinted at what to expect from the POCO F7 Pro and Ultra that are launching later this week. There is no information about the vanilla POCO F7 yet, so the specifications of this phone are not available at the moment, but here are the specifications of the POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra based on information from industry sources.
- Display: Both the POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra are expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a resolution of 3,200 x 1,440 pixels.
- Processor: The POCO F7 Ultra is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while the POCO F7 Pro is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
- Software: Both smartphones are expected to run on Android 15-based HyperOS 2.
- Camera: The POCO F7 Ultra is expected to feature a 50MP + 50MP + 32MP camera system on the rear and a 32MP camera on the front. On the other hand, the POCO F7 Pro is expected to feature a 50MP + 8MP camera on the rear and a 20MP selfie shooter.
- Battery: The POCO F7 Ultra is likely to get a 5,300mAh battery with 120W wired charging capabilities, while the POCO F7 Pro is expected to get a bigger 6,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging capabilities.
