PM Of Singapore Announced Extension Of Lockdown Till This Date

The world is suffering through coronavirus crisis and many countries have been imposed lockdown. In India PM Modi announced Lockdown 2.0 till May 3. In Singapore, the lockdown has been extended as well. PM  Lee Hsien Loong in his national addressed announced that the lockdown will be extended till June 1.

Everyone will follow strict guidelines of the lockdown till May 4. Many workplaces will still remain closed and the essential services will keep going with minimum staff.

PM Lee said that the et markets have been a problem as people keep going there. To break the chain of coronavirus strict actions need to be imposed and Singapore will follow them Lee said.

The govt will take measures and act upon the workers who have been affected by the pandemic:

“To our migrant workers, let me emphasise again, we will care for you as we care for Singaporeans,”

The govt thanked for the cooperation and requests people to be patient during the crisis.
