PM Modi has elevated the flames of rivalry against the opposition by making defamatory remarks about Congress politicians Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Modi has repeatedly made remarks on the opposition but this time the rivalry grew up to a rage. Congress leader KC Venugopal moved a motion of privilege against PM Modi regarding his controversial remark during the Parliament session.
PM Modi’s Fatal attack on the Opposition
During his speech, Modi fired up the opposition regarding the matter of federalism. Modi attacked Nehru and Gandhi for using Article 356 of the Constitution at least 90 times. These were used to manipulate the state governments over and over again.
Modi also slammed Indira Gandhi as she also used Article 356 at least 50 times to tackle governments of regional parties in states.

Modi’s Statement During Motion to Thanks Speech
PM Modi slammed Congress, and politicians, during his speech at the Motion to Thanks event. He said “I have read several news from publishers that say that there are as many as 600 government schemes named after the Gandhi-Nehru family.
He later said that he hasn’t verified the news but he has heard of several government schemes and policies named after the Gandhi-Nehru family.

PM Modi Raised Concerns on Surname “Nehru”
Modi thrashed Congress politician and the Gandhi family during his speech saying “We accept our mistake of defaming Nehru as he’s the first Prime Minister of India. However, why is the Gandhi family so ashamed of using Nehru as their surname? What is the shame? If not, why aren’t any of them using Nehru as their surname? When the family is not able to keep the name of such a renowned personality then why do they keep questioning us?
