PM Modi has arrived in Mumbai to inaugurate the all-new metro and other development services. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the metro lines at around 6.30 pm. PM Modi laid the foundation stone for the metro lines on October 11, 2015, when the Devendra Fadnavis-led BJP-Shiv Sena coalition government was in power.
Modi’s vision will now fill all the pots in the transport industry. Now, the new transport services will make traveling easier and this will also decrease the amount of traffic on roads. The government’s commitment to Mumbai can be seen today. From Roads to Hospitals, a comprehensive development launch by PM Shri Narendra Modi to secure Mumbai’s future.

Mumbai Metro Plan
Mumbai will get two new Metro lines on Thursday, 2A, and 7. They make up a 35-km-long elevated corridor that goes from Dahisar to Andheri. It forms a horseshoe ring route that connects the east and west sides of the city. It passes through Link Road and Western Express Highway.
Here are a few more development plans for Mumbai:
- Under the railway re-development plan, 6 stations namely Andheri, Bandra Terminus, Borivali, Dadar, Kalyan, and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus will be transformed.
- Modi will also focus on strengthening Mumbai’s Health Foundation. He plans to open three multi-specialty hospitals in Mumbai.
- The roads of the city will also be revived with the road concretization project. The project will cover around 400km of roads in the city.
Mumbai locals will no longer have to suffer while traveling each day.
Two and a half years of dysfunctional government stunted Mumbai’s development. Now, under the leadership of Narendra Modi ji, the double-engine government has removed all the obstacles and the spirit of Mumbai has been reignited!
