Oppo teases its own foldable phone

By adding to the line of future foldable phones, Oppo has introduced its first model, which follows the likes of foldable phones from Royole and Huawei and folds outwards.

As per the latest technology news, Oppo VP Brian Shen took to Weibo to share the prototype of the foldable phone.

This prototype device features a hinge design and has camera strip on the back that shows up in folded form.

The device was actually meant to be displayed at the MWC 2019 but the company canceled it, saying, “it wouldn’t have been meaningful”.

Nevertheless, Oppo is not entirely rejecting the idea of introducing a foldable device and based on the feedback of users, it may release a commercial version.
