Oppo Launches Robot Dog Named Qric on INNO Day!

Oppo organizes a tech event called INNO Day where it launches or announces the launch of advanced technology products that are about to be released from the OPPO production facility. In 2022 December 14th Oppo will be organizing the INNO event for the 4th time in its career.

The event has been taking place for four years now and every year they launch various new products at this event. The theme for this year’s INNO event is “Empowering a Better Future” and it aims to create better opportunities through smart connected experiences.

OPPO’s Qric is going to be its first quadruped robot that is functional and built for human assistance.

This year on INNO Day Oppo has decided to release its newly build robot dog that is functional for various activities. The robot dog will directly be competing with Xiaomi’s Cyber Dog which comes with similar features but the release of Oppo’s Qric will make its place in the market as well.

  • it can carry the load with the bearing capacity of loading small packages and parcels;
  • Automatically video calls the owner in case of an emergency or problematic situation;

OPPO shared a video on social media platform Twitter that explains the advanced abilities of OPPO Qric:

The multifunctional dog can even perform back flips, and jumping and detect falls meaning it could also interact will children giving them playful company in absence of any guardians. Furthermore, the robot dog has the ability to talk as well; this property is similar to automatic speech control devices like Siri and Amazon’s Echo.
