OnePlus’s two upcoming mobiles, OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5 are going to be launched on July 8 next month. The microsite for these Nord series devices in India is also live on Amazon, in which some key specifications have already been confirmed. At the same time, before the launch, the company shared the powerful camera features of Nord 5. Which are upgraded compared to the previous model, Nord 4. OnePlus Nord 5 Camera Details (Confirmed)
- The OnePlus Nord 5 will have a 50MP ultra-clear camera setup on both the front and rear.
- The LYT-700 sensor will be used in the rear camera of the device. This was also previously seen in the OnePlus 13R and OnePlus 13s. This sensor has been designed to give the Nord series a flagship imaging experience.
- The camera setup uses OnePlus 13’s HDR algorithm, which will give excellent color reproduction and details even in low-light photography.
- According to the company, Nord 5 will now be able to click natural skin tones, less noise and better group portraits. You will also get an 8MP 116° ultra-wide lens in the rear setup of the phone.
- Regarding the front camera, the brand has utilized the 50MP JN5 sensor this time. Which is seen in premium flagship phones.
- This sensor comes with autofocus and hardware-level multi-focusing, allowing clear selfies to be taken in all kinds of light.
- The new LivePhoto feature will also be available in the OnePlus Nord 5. Which includes Ultra HDR support. This feature captures 3 seconds of motion shots, recording 1.5 seconds before and 1.5 seconds after the shutter press, making the cover photo in Ultra HDR quality.
- Apart from this, the OnePlus Nord 5 will offer 4K 60fps video recording support for both front and rear cameras.

The official Amazon listing for the Nord 5 reveals that it will be powered by the previous-generation Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. The phone will also feature a large 7,300mm2 VC cooling area for better heat dissipation. The Nord 5 will also offer 144fps smooth gameplay in BGMI, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Garena Free Fire Max.
It is also expected to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display with HDR10+ support. The handset will also include a plus key that acts as a shortcut to access various AI features. Apart from this, the OnePlus Nord 5 may feature a large 6,700 mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support. Apart from this, it is also expected to have dual-stereo speakers and IP65 rating for basic water and dust resistance.
OnePlus Nord 5 Series Launch Date
The OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 are set to launch in India on July 8, 2025. The launch event will take place at 02:00 PM IST and will be live-streamed on OnePlus’ official YouTube channel. The OnePlus Nord 5 series will be available for purchase in India via Amazon after the launch.
