OnePlus’s much-hyped smartphone series OnePlus Ace 5 is going to be launched in China on December 26. The series will include two models – OnePlus Ace 5, Ace 5 Pro. It is being said about OnePlus Ace 5 that this phone will be a slightly lighter version of OnePlus 13R. Ahead of the launch of the OnePlus Ace 5 series, the company has now confirmed its colour variants and RAM-store configurations. OnePlus Ace 5 series is going to hit the market on December 26. Before the launch, the company has revealed the RAM-store, color variants of the models of the series.
OnePlus Ace 5 Launch Date Confirmed
OnePlus has revealed on its official site that the OnePlus Ace 5 series will be launched in China on December 26. The phone will be launched at an event that will take place at 12:00pm Indian time. Apart from this, let us tell you that in India and other global markets, the S5 can be launched as OnePlus 13R, which will have some minor differences. Also, it has been confirmed that the OnePlus 13 series will be launched in India on January 7.
OnePlus Ace 5 Series Design Leaked
As per the leak, the OnePlus Ace 5 series phones feature a circular camera module, aligned towards the left edge and a boxy chassis with rounded corners. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge. The alleged promotional image shows the OnePlus Ace 5 in white, green, and black colours, while the Ace 5 Pro has been spotted in purple, white, and black colours.
OnePlus Ace 5 Series Specifications
Display: Both phones may feature a 6.78-inch BOE X2 OLED screen with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and flat edges. The BOE panel and flat edges are new compared to the Ace 3 series.
Camera: Most of the camera arrangement may be similar to the previous models, but the Pro model may have a Sony IMX906 main camera. Apart from this, the OnePlus 13R may have a 50MP + 8MP + 50MP triple rear setup, with the third 50MP sensor being the main difference. It could be a telephoto sensor.
Processor: The OnePlus S5 may feature last year’s Qualcomm flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The OnePlus S5 Pro may come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, which is expected in 2024. The OnePlus phones may come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
Battery: The OnePlus S5 may have a 6,415mAh battery and 80W fast charging. On the other hand, the S5 Pro may have a 6,100mAh battery and 100W charging support.
Other Features: Like with the OnePlus 13 in China, the OnePlus S5 series may also come with Android 15-based ColorOS 15. Globally, it could be OxygenOS 15. According to the leak, there could be White Moon Porcelain and Sky Blue Porcelain colour options.
