The OnePlus Ace 5 series has been launched in China. Two phones have been launched in this series. One of the main differences between the two phones is that the Ace 5 runs on the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Whereas, the Pro model has the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The Ace series is usually slightly below the flagship numbered series and is limited to the Chinese market. However, the base Ace 5 can be launched globally as the OnePlus 13R, although some differences can be seen in them.
OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro prices
OnePlus Ace 5 12+256GB variant is priced at 2,299 yuan (around Rs 26,900), 12+512GB variant is priced at 2,799 yuan (around Rs 32,700), 16+256GB variant is priced at 2,499 yuan (around Rs 29,200), 16+512GB variant is priced at 2,999 yuan (around Rs 35,000) and 16+1TB variant is priced at 3,499 yuan (around Rs 40,900).
At the same time, the price of 12+256GB variant of Ace 5 Pro is 3,399 Yuan (about Rs. 39,700), 12+512GB variant is 3,999 Yuan (about Rs. 46,700), 16+256GB variant is 3,699 Yuan (about Rs. 43,200), 16+512GB variant is 4,199 Yuan (about Rs. 49,000) and 16+1TB variant is 4,699 Yuan (about Rs. 54,900). Ace 5 is available in Cyan, Black and Titanium color options. Whereas, the Pro version has been launched in Purple, Black and White variants.
OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro Date
Now the pre-sale has been opened. Sales will start in China from December 31. Since the Ace 3 was launched in India and other global markets as the OnePlus 12R, we expect the Aee 5 to be seen as the OnePlus 13R. The OnePlus 13R is coming to India on January 7, 2025. It is expected to have a different camera setup (telephoto lens) and a smaller battery size.

- OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, it runs on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship processor, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
- The smartphone comes with up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage and runs Android 15-based ColorOS 15. It has many great features in terms of gaming.
- This smartphone has a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO (2780×1264 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is protected by Crystal Shield Glass.
- The screen has a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It works even when your hands are wet or when you are wearing gloves.
- Apart from this, the display has a fingerprint reader at the bottom for biometric authentication and a punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera.
- The phone has a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP primary (Sony IMX906, OIS), 8MP ultrawide (112° FOV) and a 2MP macro camera. The OnePlus Ace 5 Pro comes with some AI-powered camera features that let you remove people from photos and de-glare the image.
- The battery of the phone is 6,100mAh and has 100W charging support. It supports bypass charging designed for gaming. Other features of the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro include an X-axis linear motor, stereo speakers, multi-functional NFC, an IR blaster and an IP65 rating.
- The smartphone includes Wi-Fi 7 and a gaming Wi-Fi chip called G1.
