OnePlus 13T is going to be launched in China later this month. It will be a brand new mid-range smartphone of the OnePlus 13 series. Recently it has been revealed that this is a compact phone, which will get a big battery of 6000mAh+. At the same time, now OnePlus has also confirmed that the signature ‘Alert Slider’ will be removed in this phone and a new button ‘Quick Key’ will be given in its place. Features of OnePlus 13T Quick Key
- OnePlus China President Lee G. Lewis has shared a teaser poster of the OnePlus 13T, in which Quick Key is visible. It is a small button located on the left side when holding the phone from the screen side.
- It looks like OnePlus has taken inspiration from Apple, which recently introduced the Action button in its new iPhones by removing the ring / silent switch.
- Mr Lewis says that the Quick Key on the OnePlus 13T will be an upgraded version of the old alert slider.
Some of its key features revealed so far are:
- Replacing the alert slider, the Quick Key will now allow users to easily switch between mute, vibration and ringing modes.
- It will also have a custom function that will allow “easily switching between options in any series of operations”.
- Lewis has described it as “very practical” and said that the company has added “a very interesting feature” to this button. More details related to this will be shared during the launch event.
What else we know about the OnePlus 13T:
- In the post, Lewis said that the OnePlus 13T has a small flat screen. The company says that they have paid attention to how the phone feels in the hand and designed this form factor based on their research.
- He also said that the phone has a 6000mAh+ battery with the company’s Glacier technology. It uses a silicon-carbon anode and advanced design, which makes the battery compact, improves thermal management and also increases its life.
- It is believed that the phone will have a 6200mAh battery and 80W fast charging.
- Apart from this, the phone can also have Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 6.31-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP main rear camera and 50MP 2x telephoto lens.
