Seems like India is getting lucky in Sports this year. After Hima Das and PV Sindhu’s incredible victory, India has credited one more gold.
Indian sprinter VK Vismaya bagged one more gold medal at the International Athletic Meeting. She made her best timing of 52.12s at women’s 400m sprint race. The meeting was held at Josef Seckár Memorial (JMS) in Brno, the Czech Republic on Wednesday.
Along with VK Vismaya, MR Poovamma and Subha Venkatesan also finished the race with 53.47 and 53.67 sec.
India congratulated her with these tweets:
It’s raining golds for India! We are proud of our players!

VK Vismaya is definitely the most improved athlete on track this year.
While the other stars grab the lime light she has silently gone about her business producing her 4th PB of the season at 52.12.
A formidable quatret is slowly taking shape. @afiindia#roadtotokyo

Vismaya was considered a weak link, but she changed everyone’s opinion by winning gold. She marked her victory and proved that hard work can help you can anything. She was just 0.03 seconds behind Hima Das. VK Vismaya’s timing was 52.12 whereas Hima’s timing was 52.09.
