The worst possible news of today is coming from the sports industry. Health conditions of Chris Cairns, a former New Zealand cricketer, are not improving. He is admitted to Sydney’s Hospital after he suffered from aortic dissection last week in Canberra.

As per the reports, doctors said that he is not responding to the treatment and is kept under observation in the ICU. It’s devastating for everyone. Not only his fans and teammates from New Zealand, but other players around the world are praying for his speedy recovery.

Former Captain of NZ, Brendon McCullum is at a loss for words and expressed concern for the family of Chris Cairns.

Cricket coach, Andre Adams, has also shared his gaming experience and childhood memories with Chris and offered support and prayers to his family.

Wednesday morning, the family of Chris Cairns released a statement updating about his health conditions and expressed gratitude for the help by his fellow teammates and fans.

Cairns is one of the best players of all time. He had played more than 200 international matches and 62 test matches in his career. Chris is also the 3rd fastest player to reach the double. In 1999, he gave his career’s best performance and retired in 2004.

Chris has also worked as the commentator for the sports channel Sky Sport.
