Nowroz 2023 is celebrated as the beginning of the New year for the Persian community. This day also officially denotes the end of winter and the beginning of spring when slowly the ice starts to melt.
United Nations recognizes Nowroz as an international holiday; on this day, people celebrate the start of the new year with their families. More than 300 million people from around the world come out to celebrate this day of new birth. It is as the ice starts to melt and the trees start to grow new leaves and the rejuvenation looks quite appealing.

Nowroz 2023: Celebration in India
Nowroz 2023: This day is of great importance to the Parsi community of India. On this day, people clean and decorate their houses, visit their friends and families, and prepare traditional items like herb rice, fried fish, and special desserts.
In several other cultures, Nowroz is also specified as the beginning of the new year. This time people cherish the past, welcome the future, and pray to God to strengthen bonds between loved ones.
