The Nothing Phone 3a series is set to launch in India and globally on March 4. Ahead of its expected launch, the British original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has now showcased the design of the base model of the series, dubbed the Nothing Phone 3a. Although it shares several design elements with the Phone 3a Pro such as the Glyph interface, the rear camera module of the handset has a different look, giving it a look similar to the Phone 3a.
New camera design for the base model
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Nothing shared a glimpse of the Phone 3a’s design, confirming that although the phone will feature the brand’s recognisable Glyph interface, it won’t look exactly like the Phone 3a Pro
The biggest change is in the rear camera module. Unlike the Pro model, which capabilities a round module with irregularly located lenses, the Phone 3a opts for a pill-fashioned digital digicam format located horizontally on the back. It houses three camera sensors, giving the device a more symmetrical and streamlined look.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Nothing shared a glimpse of the design of the upcoming Nothing Phone 3A. Unlike the Nothing Phone 3A Pro, which features a large circular rear camera module with irregularly placed lenses, the base model in the lineup will feature a pill-shaped unit placed horizontally at the back. It houses three camera lenses.
Meanwhile, the rest of the design is similar to the high-end model. The Nothing Phone 3A is equipped with a glyph interface around the camera module – a feature that has become synonymous with Nothing smartphones.
This development comes after the Nothing Phone 3A Pro’s design reveal on Monday and its unboxing by 1X Technologies’ Neo Gemma humanoid.

Nothing Phone 3A specifications (expected)
As per previous reports, the Nothing Phone 3A is expected to be offered in Black and White color options and reportedly has the model number A059. It may come equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC and a 6.72-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For optics, the phone is expected to feature a triple rear camera unit consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle shooter at the back. It is also expected to feature a 32-megapixel front sensor for selfies and video calls.
