- At the Android Show I/O edition, Carl Pei discussed Nothing’s design-first thinking and community-driven approach and announced that the Phone (3) will launch this summer.
- Surprisingly, he has revealed the price of this phone to be around 800 pounds (around ₹ 90,000). In comparison, the Nothing Phone (2) was launched in India at a starting price of ₹44,999. That is, this time the price is completely flagship level.
- Pei says that the Nothing Phone 3 will use “premium materials”, which may include a titanium frame and advanced glass on the front and back.
- He also claimed that the phone will have “big performance upgrades”, which could possibly come in the form of a high-end chipset like the Snapdragon 8 Elite or the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+.
- Software will also be a big focus area. The company is working on delivering a better software experience, which may include changes to the UI, new features in the Essentials space, AI-powered capabilities and major improvements to the camera experience.
- In a separate interview with 91Mobiles, Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis said that the Phone (3) will deliver a “breakthrough experience”.
