No Mass Gathering After 10 pm, MP Under Night Curfew From Tomorrow

After the Friday meeting in which Madhya Pradesh CM reviewed the corona situation of the state, rumors of a lockdown or at least night curfew started surfacing. Now, it’s confirmed that the state is going to face a night curfew from tomorrow. However, the restrictions are only imposed on the districts near the borders of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh but the two major hubs of the coronavirus are also under restrictions.

Indore and Bhopal both are leading in terms of total corona cases across the state. Within a day, the toll reached 259 in one day in Indore whereas it’s 199 in Bhopal within 24 hours which is the highest this year. This sudden rise in cases has forced officials to re-impose section 144.

All forms of the gathering are now banned after 10:00 pm in the night and ban will continue till 6 am. Coaching, organizations, and institutes across the state should limit the capacity to 50 percent. Even vendors cannot keep their shops open after 10. The guidelines are also same for Ratlam, Chindwada, Betul, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Jabalpur, Gwalior, and Khargone.

In addition to those arriving at MP from the neighboring states like Maharashtra and Gujarat have to present their RT-PCR report.
