In an interesting turn of events, the Nissan Magnite facelift design has been fully revealed ahead of the launch. It seems that its units have already arrived in showrooms and have already been photographed ahead of the launch on October 4. As expected, this is a small update of Nissan’s move into the sub 4 meter SUV segment.

Being an affordable offering, the Nissan Magnite Facelift is expected to garner more volumes than the pre-facelift model. As seen in the recent spy shots, we can see the updated design of the car. At the front, we get to see an updated fascia that features a redesigned bumper with a large silver element that mimics a bull bar.

Nissan has added black finish trim around the chrome element around the grille. From the looks of it, the Nissan Magnite seems to have retained its grille size as before but features a new pattern. The headlights look similar to the pre-facelift model, which might not be a bad thing as it gets LED projectors with LED turn indicators.

What are the interior updates?

  • Apart from the color theme, there don’t seem to be any new updates inside. At least, that’s what it seems from Nissan’s recent teasers and these new spy shots. We can see the Lamborghini-inspired dashboard layout along with the three-spoke steering, which now has black elements for added sportiness.
  • Features like auto climate control, rear AC vents, front and rear armrests, cruise control, push-button start, keyless entry, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 8-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay will remain the same as before.
  • We expect Nissan to add other features like auto-dimming IRVM, ventilated seats, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and 360-camera. The powertrains will remain the same as before. This means the 1.0L 3-cylinder engine will be offered either in a naturally aspirated state or a turbocharged state.
  • The NA petrol makes 71 bhp and 96 Nm and gets either a 5-speed manual or an AMT. While the turbo petrol engine gets 99 bhp and 160 Nm, which comes with a 5-speed manual or CVT.

The price can be this much

The price of Nissan Magnite facelift can be 40 to 50 thousand rupees more than the upcoming model. Its ex-showroom price can start from Rs 6.4 lakh.
