New Zealand fall in ODI ranking post India debacle

New Zealand has moved to fourth place in the (ICC) ODI team rankings following their 35-run triumph against India in the fifth one-day international in Wellington.

The Black Caps have slipped behind South Africa to fourth place in the ODI rankings after their 4-1 series loss to India.

New Zealand is now on 111 points, similar as South Africa however behind on decimal points, even as second-placed India have obtained one point to reach the 122 marks. India has traversed the gap with England who is leading the rankings table with 126 points.

New Zealand and India would have continued on their pre-series tally of 113 and 121 points, respectively, had the home side picked up off a victory in the last match in Wellington on Sunday for a 3-2 series result.
