The company is preparing to bring Nissan Magnite facelift to the Indian market. Earlier its new teaser has been released on social media. Its tires are shown in the new 11-second teaser. Along with this, information about the new look of the vehicle is also being received.

Information received from reports

The company has not yet given official information, but according to media reports, mostly cosmetic changes will be made in the facelift version of the current SUV Nissan Magnite. There is no possibility of any change in its engine.

The upcoming facelift is expected to come with several exterior updates. The front and rear bumpers are expected to be redesigned, while updates to the grille and headlamps are likely to give the Magnite a sharper look. The taillights are also rumored to be redesigned. Apart from this, Nissan has already introduced new diamond-cut alloy wheels, with the entry-level variant likely to get new plastic wheel covers.

On the interior front, the overall design is expected to remain largely the same, although there could be subtle improvements. Notably, the facelift could get a single-pane sunroof as well as minor changes to the dashboard. Safety upgrades are expected with the possible addition of six airbags. The infotainment system will also see improvements, including a larger touchscreen and additional comfort features aimed at improving the driving experience.

Powertrain changes unlikely

While the facelift will get several visual and feature updates, no changes are expected to the engine options. The current Magnite has two engine options: a 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The naturally aspirated version gets both five-speed manual and AMT transmissions, while the turbocharged variant gets manual and CVT gearbox options

Nissan prices the current Magnite between Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 11.27 lakh (ex-showroom). But the ex-showroom price of the facelift version may increase marginally. It competes directly with SUVs like Tata Punch, Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Frontex, Citroen Basalt, Toyota Taser and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
