The 2025 Simple One electric scooter has been launched in India at Rs 1.66 lakh. The company calls it the Generation 1.5 update and it brings a lot of changes compared to the first scooter launched earlier.
To begin with, the new Simple One has an increased range of 248 km under IDC, while the previous scooter had a range of 212 km. This has been achieved by changing the battery algorithm. Along with the increased range, several software improvements have also been made to the scooter.

While the Generation 1 Simple One had a certified range (IDC) of 212 km, the Generation 1.5 has a range of 248 km on a single full charge. Which makes it India’s longest range electric two-wheeler. This claim has been made by Simple Energy.
Features of Simple One Electric Scooter
Many great features have been added to the Simple One 1.5 generation electric scooter. App integration has been improved in this. Along with this, many features like navigation, updated ride modes, park assist, OTA updates, regenerative braking, trip history, customized dash theme, find my feature, rapid brake, TPMS, USB charging port, auto brightness, LED DRL, LED lights have been given.
What is the speed
This electric scooter can accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 2.77 seconds. It now also has a park assist feature, which moves both forward and backward. The under-seat storage of more than 30 liters is said to be the best in this category.

The company has launched this scooter at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.66 lakh (Electric Scooter India 2025 Price). This price will be valid for Bengaluru. Along with this, the company plans to open 150 new stores and about 200 service centers in 23 states in the next few days.
