Based on the recently released design sketches, you can spot the long, boxy appearance of the Syros, which looks inspired by both the Kia EV9 electric SUV and the Kia Carnival. The latest name confirmation teaser shows vertically positioned 3-pod LED headlights, supported by long LED DRLs.
In terms of features, it is expected to get a similar dual-display setup, auto climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and wireless phone charger as the other two Kia SUVs. Its safety suite is expected to include six airbags (as standard), ISOFIX child seat anchorages, a reversing camera and electronic stability control (ESC).
Comfort and space in Kia Syros
The new Kia Syros SUV has a strong focus on rear-seat space and comfort. Hence, it will be different from other compact SUVs. It has a boxy design with a flat roof and upright rear to offer maximum space. The Siros will have more interior space than the Sonet, and could be a rival SUV to the Seltos.
The Electric version of the Syros will also be launched
At the moment, Kia has not revealed anything about the engine of the Syros. It is speculated that its fuel-based version will be launched first. After this, the company can launch the electric version of the Siros in the market. Both versions will be offered as front wheel drive.
The upcoming Syros compact SUV will be launched on the lines of Hyundai Venue. Sub-4 meter SUVs like the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza and the recently launched Skoda Koleos can be placed in the upper range.
