Kawasaki KLX 230 S is a motorcycle that has been designed only for sports and off-road. The variant of the bike to be launched in India will be Friendlier S, in which the suspension travel will be slightly less and the seat height will be low. This bike has a strong ground clearance of 239 mm. The Kawasaki KLX 230 S weighs only 133 kg and can be driven on any road without any problem, especially in hilly and desert areas as well as muddy areas.
How powerful is the engine
The weight of the Kawasaki KLX 230 S to be launched in India may increase slightly. Here some changes can be seen in the bike according to the fuel rules, while ABS is also going to be available with it. This sports bike will get an air-cooled 2-valve single-cylinder engine which is 233 cc.
This bike will come with a 5-speed gearbox and it is estimated that this engine will generate power from 17 to 20 HP. Apart from this, it is also being estimated that the price of the bike will be around Rs 2 lakh.
It is believed that the Kawasaki KLX 230 S will compete directly with the Hero Xpulse 200 4V. However, our dealer sources estimate that its on-road price could be above Rs 3 lakh, which will bring it closer to the Yezdi Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.
