Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the new Honda CB650R and CBR650R in India. The 2025 Honda CB650R is a naked offering, while the CBR650R is a full-faired sports tourer bike. With the launch of these two bikes, their booking has also been started. The delivery of these bikes will also start from February 2025. Both of these will also be showcased at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025.
CB650R & CBR650R Upgrade
It has been given several updates compared to the previous model. It retains the neo-retro styling as before, but the Cad offering has sharp tank extensions that house the air intake as before. Its tail section has been updated to give a sharp look. It has a new 5-inch TFT display, which gives more data than before. At the same time, it now supports Bluetooth connectivity.
CBR 650R Design
The design of the new Honda CBR650R is better than before. The bike gets twin LED headlights, cuts and creases on the fairings and an upswept tail. Furthermore, the bike uses a steel diamond frame, which is suspended by Showa SFF USD forks and a monoshock with 10-step preload adjustment. The bike gets 17-inch wheels at both the front and rear. At the same time, if we talk about its braking, it has twin discs in the front and disc brakes in the rear, which makes its braking system quite good.
CBR650R Engine
The new Honda CBR650R uses a 649cc, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine. This engine generates 93 bhp of power at 12,000 rpm and 63 Nm of torque at 9500 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Talking about the features of the new Honda CBR650R, it has LED lights, TFT display and many other great features.
Honda CB650R Features
The updated CB650R uses a 649 cc inline four-cylinder engine that generates 93.8 bhp of power at 12,000 rpm and 63 Nm of peak torque at 9,500 rpm. The motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.
Its upgraded model includes Showa (SFF-BP) front forks and monoshock at the rear. Braking performance is handled by dual radial-mounted 310 mm floating discs at the front and a 240 mm single disc at the rear. It has dual-channel ABS for better safety. The new updated CB650R comes in two new colour options, which are Candy Chromosphere Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
CB650R & CBR650R Price
The new Honda CB650R has been launched in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of Rs 9.20 lakh. Its delivery will start from February 2025. The bike will be sold through premium Honda Big Wing dealerships. Along with this, the updated model of Honda CBR650R has been launched, Its price has been kept at Rs 9.99 lakh. It has been given two new colors Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
