Narendra Modi Met Kamala Harris, Talked Over Pakistan, Terrorism

The world has changed ever since the pandemic and for the very first time, all the major global leaders have come together. All eyes are on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden who is yet to meet. Modi being the key person in Quad Leader’s Summit in America has already met Vice President Kamala Harris and took forward some key issues.

Their meeting included some crucial topics related to Taliban captured Afghanistan, new climate change report and deadly pandemic.

“India Is Important To U.S, “ Says Harris

The Indian-born U.S Vice President did not forget to remind the world how important India is not only for her but for America as well. She focused on the efforts of both nations in making the world a safe place and how the U.S takes pride in being a part of the Indo-Pacific.

PM Modi also said how the two countries share similar values and are linked via culture which is important to strengthen their relationship. Both laid their views on Pakistan and how India’s neighborhood is nourishing terrorism.

Kamala Harris demanded Pakistan ensure that it would not support terrorist groups in any way. Both discussed the need of monitoring Islamabad to ensure that terrorists cannot threaten any of the two nations.

It was one-on-one interaction that lasted one hour during which Harris also expressed her desire to come to India once again. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet Joe Biden at 11 am EST and also address the UNGA. It would be the first face-to-face meeting since Biden became president of the United States.

Modi’s Warm Welcome In US

Modi will also meet leaders of Australia and Japan. On the other hand, the trilateral meeting between India, France, and Australia will not take place as per the reports.
