Tamil Nadu opener Narayan Jagadeesan batted in a stormy manner in the pre-quarterfinals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Rajasthan. Narayan and Tushar Raheja opened the innings for Tamil Nadu, chasing a target of 268 runs. Narayan hit 6 fours off 6 consecutive balls of Aman Shekhawat in the second over of Tamil Nadu’s innings. Aman started this over with a wide ball, which went for a four. After this, Narayan hit 6 consecutive fours and in the second over itself, Tamil Nadu’s score was 39 runs. Aman conceded a total of 29 runs in his first over.
Narayan Jagadeesan hit 10 fours
Tushar Raheja and Narayan Jagadeesan added 60 runs in 42 balls for the first wicket. At this score, Raheja (11) was bowled by Khalil Ahmed. But Narayan stood firm at the other end and soon completed his half-century. Narayan had scored an unbeaten 60 off 46 balls till the time of writing the news. He had hit 10 fours till then.
