The mystery behind Instagram’s most liked egg cracked: The secret behind the egg that uncrowned Kylie Jenner to become the most-liked post on Instagram has been solved.

It has been found that the image of the egg was a project created by three British advertisement executives, who collaborated with Hulu for a 30-second public-service announcement promoting mental-health awareness.

On Friday, the world record egg from Instagram provoked a big revelation following the Super Bowl, to debut exclusively on Hulu.

As per the reports, in the teaser, the popular egg literally cracks and collapses due to the stress of being Instagram famous.

Afterward, it then directed users to talkingegg.info, a site which links to mental-health organizations around the world.

Recently, the Instagram sensation says, I’ve started to crack. The pressure of social media is getting to me,” the egg says in the spot, which also was posted on its Instagram account Monday. “If you’re struggling too, talk to someone. We got this.”

As per the reports, Eugene, the egg was made by Chris Godfrey, the London-based advertisement executive who was eager to see if this picture of an egg could become a social-media sensation.

According to the New York Times, the trio told that Chris continued to work with C.J. Brown and Alissa Khan-Whelan, to maintain the account.

Currently, Eugene has more than 10 million followers, and the original January 4 post now has over 52 million likes.
