The cases of coronavirus in Mumbai are increasing day by day and situations are getting hard to control. As a precautionary measure, the Mumbai Police took up an important decision of exempting cops above 55years of age from performing duties during COVID-19 pandemic.

The decision was made after 3 cops have died of coronavirus infection. A head constable of Mumbai Police died on Mumbai after suffering from coronavirus.
Maharashtra has reported the maximum number of cases and therefore the healthcare workers who especially above 55 years of age are more at risk.
