It’s a dazzling night at the MTV VMA Awards 2024 Taylor swipes a big win on Wednesday with the Artist of the Year award. This year’s award happens without any hitch and drama. It was all Taylor night, where she won a total of seven awards.
The other artists include Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Kety Perry LL Cool and many more.
MTV VMA Awards 2024: Who Won the Big Awards
The Last Night is all about Taylor Swift, Chappel Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter descending on UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. The show was hosted by Megan Thee Stallion with a performance of LL Cool J, Shawn Mendes, Katy Perry, Benson Boone, Anitta, Karol G, LL Cool J, Camila Cabello, Halsey and more.
Taylor Swift won a total of 7 Moon Men trophies this year with total of 30 VMA awards surpassing Beyonce’s most won of 27 trophies this year. Other major winners include Eminem, Tyla, and Megan Thee Stallion second-most win with two moon men pieces.
Eminem won the best hip-hop and best visual effects for Houdind, while Megan won best part art direction for “BOA” and best-trending video for “Mamushi”. Tyla won the best new artists and best afro beats for “ Water”.
MTV VMA Awards 2024: Major Performances That Rock The Night
The MTV VMA awards 2024 opener is none other than electrifying rapper Eminem who rock the show with his song “Houdini” and “Somebody Save Me” nodding to his 2000 VMA performance.
Katy Perry gives a marvelous performance as part of her Video Vanguard performances.
Sabrina Carpenter took it to outer space for her performances, a medley of songs from her late albums “Short n Sweet”. It’s Medley Wacko that caught the eye of every audience. As she descended from the rafters on a swing “ Please, Please, Please and then transitioned into the “Taste”
Chappel Roan who transformed the whole stage into so called medieval times with her performances of “Good Luck Babe”.
