MP News: Mobile Phones Strictly Banned Inside Mahakal, Ujjain

The final statement to ban mobile phones inside the Mahakal Temple is strictly imposed. The decision will forcefully be applied by December 20. If the devotees are found using phones they will have to pay the designated fine.

MP News: Collector Ashish Singh, Chairman of the Mahkaleshwar Temple Committee decided to ban mobile phones with everyone’s consent. The committee is also building a mobile locker facility for the safety of the visitors.

Rule breakers will also be banned from the holy place Mahakaleshwar Temple for two weeks. Moreover, due to heavy traffic of visitors during the end and start of the year, the visitors will permanently be restricted for the last and first week of the year.

MP News: Reason for Mobile Ban

People started to make reels and videos inside the Mahakaleshwar Temple Campus. The increasing number of visitors making such music videos puts a bad influence on the origin of the Temple.

Recently, two women employees of the temple committee were caught making music videos inside the sanctum sanctorum of Mahakaleshwar. Both of the women were fired soon after the video got viral.
